Oak Beams

Oak beams, particularly in the building trade, are quite probably the most ‘traditional’ material used creating structures with warmth and style all of their own. Oak beams can be used for framed extensions, framed garages, swimming pools and extensions. The Oak we supply can also be used for fireplace beams and surrounds. We can supply structural Oak Hardwood, often called beam Oak, in a multitude of different grades and sizes ranging up to 20" x 20" cross-section and up to 40' in length (although in exceptional circumstances we have produced larger!). We are also licensed by TRADA (Timber Research And Development Association) to stress grade Oak to BS 5756, grades being THA D40, THB D30, TH1 D30 and TH2, thus giving you peace of mind that the oak and oak beams you are using are strong enough for the intended task.
