Our timber comes from specialist mills in Europe with which we enjoy good trading relations, enabling us to satisfy the needs of the restoration sector, the joinery trade and the construction industry and meet the demands of today’s competitive market.

Being high quality oak suppliers our flooring is machined with tongue and groove edges matched for simple installation and can be machined to various thicknesses to suit clients specification. Using only the finest timber supplied in special sizes a Border Hardwood floor will stand the test of time, whether it’s for a home improvement or a major restoration. Oak Beams

Oak beams particularly in the building trade are quite probably the most ‘traditional’ material used creating structures with warmth and style all of their own. We can supply structural Oak Hardwood, often called beam Oak, in a multitude of different grades and sizes ranging up to 20" x 20" cross-section and up to 40' in length (although in exceptional circumstances we have produced larger!). We are also licensed by TRADA (Timber Research And Development Association) to stress grade Oak to BS 5756, grades being THA D40, THB D30, TH1 D30 and TH2, thus giving you peace of mind that the oak and oak beams you are using are strong enough for the intended task.
