Ekki & Tropical Hardwoods

This covers a large area and group of hardwoods.

We have launched a new product line specialising in heavy/durable structural Tropical Hardwoods. Namely Ekki, Greenheart, Purpleheart, Opepe, Okan, Tali, Basralocus and Cloeziana.

Border Hardwood Limited have a long and vast experience within the Oak framing market. Also having decades of milling, trading and merchanting Oak beams, we have transferred this experience and skill base to increasing the procurement, importing and distribution of marine hardwoods nationally.

Border Hardwood have a designated team who liaise with local authority and guild/advise and help with all projects from railways, embankments, canals, bridges, lock gates, jacking timbers, fenders and all marine timber requirements.

We are in a unique position where we can utilise our Hundegger machines to be able to machine domestically large sections or Ekki and civil engineering tropical hardwoods. Border Hardwood have the capability to plane finish sections up to 350mm x300mm up to 14m lengths.

Also having a team of Visual graders BS5756 in house we are able to grade to specification.
